Product Launch Management

  • Lead the strategy and implementation of Stem Direct, a complete rebranding of Stem's offering, including major changes to Stem’s pricing model, sales strategy, and account management processes

    • Analyzed client portfolio to compare account performance to cost of account acquisition and management and identified that our “long tail” approach had led to portfolio where 2% of clients represented 80% of our revenue.

    • Ran user interviews with top performing clients to collect data on pricing sensitivity, desired product features, support style preferences, and openness to a service model change.

    • Responsible for selecting and divesting over 5,000 customers from the platform; Identified trends among top performing accounts; created criteria for determining which accounts Stem should and should not continue to service.

    • Brokered partnership with Tunecore to offer a year of free distribution to Stem’s divested accounts; orchestrated technical divestment process with Stem and Tunecore Engineering

    • Drafted and approved Stem Direct launch copy for external PR, socials, client, and internal communications.

    • Restructured and trained sales and support teams to support new strategy

  • Researched and prototyped early versions of recent product launch, Stem Scale.
